The IRP is a two-phase program implemented by Startup Moldova Foundation, supported by UMAEF, designed to prepare Moldovan startups to successfully raise capital. It provides access to investor knowledge, practical fundraising tools, personalized mentorship, and direct

Startups in Moldova often lack:

• Investor knowledge and fundraising strategy
• Access to quality networks
• Practical results in raising capital
• IRP fills these gaps by offering hands-on learning, tailored support, and investor exposure.

Startups that meet the following minimum criteria:

• Have an MVP and a launched product
• Proven early traction (revenue, users, clients, etc.)
• Plan to start fundraising within the next 6 months

The program runs from June to November 2025 and includes:

• Phase I (June–August): Investment tool preparation for participants
• Phase II (September–November): Investor matchmaking and due diligence for 5 selected startups
• Pitching Event Abroad (November): Selected startups pitch to international investors

Selected startups will participate in a Pitching Day abroad meeting with international investors to showcase their businesses and build strategic relationships.

The program is led by:

• VC fund investors
• Angel investors from across the region
• Startup founders with fundraising experience (€1M–10M)
• Mentors-in-Residence (MiRs) in key areas: financials, business development, marketing, and sales.
